Up there with the fulfillment of a dream

Fantasy becomes real, Believing becomes truth
I am not the same as I used to be

There’s a new one, bursting into being
Obsessed over and adoring existing
Switched out of her role as the Voice of reason
Quaking in her boots at the Changing of the season
Wondering at the spirit of the new self
Able to bear up under pressure
One hopes so at least
At the place I now am, Scared to death
Barely able to stand, Out of breath
The thoughts ringing and zinging
Around in my head
Colliding with every
Fantastic and crazy scene
Ever produced by fevered
Daydream
Edge of the cliffs, time to fly
Ready to do the thing
Not content to let life pass me by
Anymore
Deep breath
Here goes nothing
Everything
Open the door...
